Margarete Barthel and her sons Christian, Heinz and Werner Barthel, now representing the thrid generation, take over the reconstruction of the coloured paper company.
Dr. Heinz Barthel and his brothers Christian and Werner Barthel become general partners and Margarete Barthel a limited partner. The sales turnover and number of employees increase rapidly over the coming years. Continual investment and product innovation bring results.
Mrs Margarete Barthel dies in January 1958 and Hugo Schweitzer dies just one and a half years later. Both these people made an important contribution to the reconstruction of the coloured paper company.
A constant expansion of the production capacity and the development of new products enable the coloured paper company Buntpapierfabrik Bähr to grow further. The company concentrates on new markets - the proportion of articles produced for school and handicraft requirements is extended on a continual basis.
